Castrelo de Miño celebrates San Roque with aquatic procession

Castrelo de Miño concluded three days of celebrations dedicated to the Virgin of the Assumption and San Roque on August 16. The festivities featured a central aquatic procession through the Miño reservoir, where a flotilla of motorboats, kayaks, and pedal boats followed a catamaran led by the local priest.

In conjunction with the religious events, the town held the 22nd edition of the Festa da Codorniz. The culinary event saw the preparation and consumption of approximately 5,000 quails over the weekend, drawing hundreds of attendees for roasted quail and empanada.
