Castres and Toulouse face challenges ahead of Top 14 clash

Castres Olympique manager Xavier Sadourny expressed deep dissatisfaction following a poor performance against Clermont. Sadourny described a “feeling of shame” regarding his team's lack of engagement and strategic execution during the first half, noting they failed to score any points and struggled with technical errors and set pieces.

Looking ahead to their upcoming match against Toulouse, Castres is seeking an immediate reaction. Meanwhile, Toulouse faces significant squad challenges due to an extensive injury crisis. Having been without approximately twenty-one professional players during their recent match against Montpellier, the Toulouse staff may be forced to rotate their squad and rest key players for the fixture at Pierre-Fabre to manage fatigue and upcoming Champions Cup commitments.
