Castres: Two men with same name discover identity overlap after inheritance error
Two men with the same name, Laurent Béziat, discovered their striking similarities following a banking error in Castres, France. Both men were born on August 12, 1968, in the same city and the same maternity ward.
The confusion came to light during a legal succession process after the death of one man's parents, when an inheritance was mistakenly transferred to the bank account of the other Laurent Béziat. While they share a name and birth date, they hold different professions—one is an engineer and the other an IT engineer.
Despite their near-identical identities, the men differ in their middle names, heights, and photographs. Coincidentally, they also married on the same day.
