Castro, Brazil: Wind knocks metal structure onto power lines

A metal structure detached from a building facade during high winds in Castro, Brazil, striking the electrical grid on Friday afternoon. The impact caused a transformer to explode and catch fire, leading to a power outage in the building.

During the incident, a high-voltage cable snapped and fell onto a parked white vehicle. Copel crews and Municipal Guard officers attended the scene to secure the area and repair the damaged wiring. Reports indicated that power was being restored to the building following the repairs.
