Castro inaugurates new Women's Health Center facility

The Regina Nardi Cardoso Women's Health Center has moved to a new, larger, and more accessible facility in Castro, Brazil. Located adjacent to the Bom Jesus Basic Health Unit (UBS) in Vila Santa Cruz, the new space was inaugurated following an investment of approximately R$40,000.

The center provides specialized services for women, including contraceptive methods such as IUD and Implanon insertion, as well as prenatal care for high-risk pregnancies. Local officials stated that the move from a previously cramped and improvised location aims to improve structure and comfort for both patients and staff.
