Castrol Ford Team Türkiye finishes fifth in Junior WRC Finland Rally

Turkey's Castrol Ford Team Türkiye competed in the Junior World Rally Championship round in Finland, the 75th edition of the event. Drivers Ali Türkkan and co‑driver Bilge Ayan led the rally during the first two days, but a off‑road excursion on day two cost them significant time. Despite the setback, the pair won the most stages of the rally and secured the team's status as the event's most stage‑winning crew.

The team ultimately finished fifth overall, earning valuable bonus points that keep Türkkan in second place in the Junior WRC standings. Team coach Murat Bostancı said the performance was stronger than the results suggested. The championship battle now moves to the season‑final Chile Rally in early September, where the title will be decided.
