Authorities in Germany have arrested two men, aged 40 and 65, following an extensive investigation into illegal drug trafficking. The operation, led by the Pinneberg Criminal Inspection, involved eight search warrants executed across Quickborn, Henstedt-Ulzburg, and the Uelzen district.
During the raids, police seized several kilograms of cannabis, a small amount of cocaine, various prescription medications, mobile phones, and five-figure sums of cash. In one of the searched locations, officers discovered an illegally operated gambling hall containing five slot machines.
The 40-year-old primary suspect was presented to a judge at the Itzehoe District Court and has been placed in pre-trial detention. The 65-year-old suspect also faces legal proceedings.
