Castrop-Rauxel jeweler crafts Bundesliga VDV trophies

Jeweler Max Zimmer of Castrop-Rauxel has handcrafted the annual trophies for the Association of Professional Footballers (VDV). These awards are determined by a vote among professional players across the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga, and regional leagues.

For the 2025/26 season, Bayern Munich's Michael Olise was voted the best player in the Bundesliga, receiving 71.8 percent of the votes and winning the ‘Silver Shoe’. Yan Diomande was named best youth player, receiving 30.6 percent of the votes. Additionally, Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany was awarded the ‘Silver Coach's Bench’ for best coach with 71.8 percent of the vote.
