Castrop-Rauxel to host inaugural Pinktober charity run

Castrop-Rauxel will host its first ‘Pinktober’ event on October 24, 2026, at the Bahnhofstraße stadium. The initiative, titled ‘Pink bewegt CAS – gemeinsam für Brustgesundheit’, focuses on breast health awareness through community engagement and physical activity.

Organized by Aziza Hida in collaboration with Radmila Kocima of the Bauer B+V Akademie, the event features a 5-kilometer charity run and walking course. Participants are asked to contribute a minimum donation of 10 euros, with a reduced rate of 5 euros for children.

In addition to the run, the program includes a children's activity area and various local exhibitors, aiming to foster community connection and support for breast health.
