Cat Café Opens in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic

Barbora Šedinová, a entrepreneur from Kokořínsko, is opening Mňauccino, a cat café on Staroměstské Square in Mladá Boleslav, expected to launch in autumn. The venue will house rescued cats from the Felisicat shelter in Ústí nad Labem, including Merlin, Ron, Maya and others, and will allow guests to adopt the animals.

At the same time, the Liberec‑based animal welfare organization Šance zvířatům has started a public fundraising campaign to buy cat litter and veterinary diagnostic kits for stray and abandoned cats. The funds will cover tests for panleukopenia, giardia, FIV and FeLV, as well as litter for temporary shelters, helping to keep the cats healthy and their environment clean.
