Cat Collector and CatchCat mobile apps launch for feline enthusiasts

New mobile applications, Cat Collector and CatchCat, are introducing augmented reality-style gameplay centered on real-world feline sightings. Available on iOS and Android, these apps allow users to photograph cats encountered in public spaces and add them to digital collections.

Cat Collector enables users to name photographed cats and save their exact coordinates on a personalized interactive map. The platform also features a global community component where users can explore sightings recorded by others. While the app is free to download, it offers optional in-app purchases for advanced features.

CatchCat utilizes similar mechanics, transforming photographs into unique digital collectible cards. These cards include various rarity levels, statistics, and backstories. The app encourages urban exploration through an interactive community map that displays sightings reported by nearby players, fostering social interaction and themed collection completion.
