Brazil's regional fairs and creative‑economy initiatives spur local growth

The 2026 edition of the Feira Industrial e Comercial de Cataguases (FINC) opened in Cataguases, Brazil, with mayor José Henriques and industry leaders highlighting its 40‑year history as a hub for business, innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the Serra da Capivara National Park, the opera "Cleópatra, Rainha Caatingueira" ran until 2 August, promoted by Sebrae to link culture, tourism and local entrepreneurship.

The IV Expo Moda Seridó in Caicó showcased ten fashion collections, underscoring the role of Sebrae‑backed creative‑economy projects in the region.
