Catalan cultural initiatives highlight Parkinson's awareness and literary recovery

In Tous, Bernat Tort is undertaking the ‘Objectiu 947’ challenge, a cycling initiative to traverse all municipalities in Catalonia. Following a Parkinson's diagnosis three years ago, Tort is using cycling to manage the neurodegenerative disease and raise awareness about the importance of physical activity in facing such conditions.

In Tortosa, the publication of ‘Bon dia, cultura catalana’ marks the recovery of columns written by Manuel Pérez Bonfill for the weekly Ebre Informes between 1977 and 1985. Pérez Bonfill, a prominent intellectual, writer, and educator from Tortosa, used these columns during the post-Franco era to provide insight into contemporary Catalan culture.
