Catalan cultural institutions launch new art and digital exhibitions

Cultural institutions in Catalonia are launching new initiatives to enhance art accessibility and research. The Sitges Museums are entering a new phase focused on contemporary art and community connection. Upcoming highlights include the permanent display of restored dolls from the Lola Anglada Collection at Espai Rocamora and the inauguration of the Subirachs Collection at the Museu de Maricel in November, which will run until March 2027.

In Barcelona, a new permanent space dedicated to Salvador Dalí has opened at the Casa Amatller Digital Arts Centre. Located on Passeig de Gràcia, the immersive experience titled ‘Dalí Boulevard Cibernètic’ explores the artist's fascination with science and technology. This opening marks the first permanent dedicated space for the artist in Barcelona, a century after his first individual exhibition in the city.
