Catalan Cystic Fibrosis Association increases support for IDIBELL

The Catalan Cystic Fibrosis Association has increased its support for the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) by donating laboratory equipment valued at 3,000 euros. This latest contribution brings the total aid provided by the association to IDIBELL to 155,000 euros since the beginning of their collaboration.

The donated equipment is designated for the immune-inflammatory processes research group, led by Dr. Josep Maria Aran. This long-standing partnership, which has lasted over a decade, focuses on advancing research into cystic fibrosis and other rare diseases. The collaboration aligns with the launch of REMMA Bellvitge, a new program designed to strengthen translational research for rare adult diseases.
