Catalan leaders prepare for new political term

The Catalan Government, led by President Salvador Illa, will hold an executive meeting at the Monestir de les Avellanes in Os de Balaguer to outline its strategy for the upcoming political term. A primary focus of the meeting will be infrastructure, including addressing Rodalies rail issues, road improvements such as the N-260 and N-2, and the development of the Transversal Railway Axis. The agenda also includes the transformation of Lleida-Alguaire airport and enhancing the capacity of Andorra-la Seu airport.

Simultaneously, Carles Puigdemont is scheduled to meet with trusted leaders of Junts per Catalunya to prepare for the new political cycle. The discussions aim to address the potential return of Puigdemont to Catalonia, pending amnesty, and to strategize against the rising electoral influence of Aliança Catalana in anticipation of future municipal and parliamentary elections.
