Catalan municipalities host wine and apple harvest festivals

Several municipalities in Catalonia are hosting local gastronomic festivals this October.

In Castellví de la Marca, the 68th Festa del Most will take place from October 16 to 18. The event marks the end of the grape harvest and features an enogastronomic fair with wine and cava tastings from local wineries, alongside music, parades, and a cycling tour through local cellars.

Meanwhile, Pontons is preparing for the Fira de la Poma, held this Sunday. The fair aims to highlight the local apple production, which is in season from October to December. The event includes a market for local producers and artisans, wine and cava pairings, and various activities such as circus performances and live music.
