Catalan towns host traditional Sant Bartomeu festivals

Local festivities in Catalonia have featured diverse community celebrations. In Nules, the Sant Bartomeu festivals included a large-scale costume parade and contest involving approximately one hundred groups. Key winners included the group Distinció for best costume, Kontradicció for best local critique, Temptació for best choreography, and Valhalla for best float.

In Hostalets de Balenyà, the Sant Bartomeu major festival introduced a unique fuet eating competition. The event, which took place as part of a broader program including music, theater, and traditional dances, aimed to promote local gastronomy and community engagement through a competitive eating format.

Both locations continue their seasonal programming with various traditional activities, including bull exhibitions and musical performances.
