Catalonia hosts free summer concerts in Olot and microtown festivals

The duet La Clau, formed by Isabel Gallego and Guillem Duocastella and selected in the Talent Musical dels Micropobles 2026 call, will perform on 24 and 25 July in the Lleida municipalities of Omellons and Almatret. The concerts are part of the Festival Itinera circuit, backed by the Fundació “la Caixa”, and aim to give rural artists professional exposure; the call received over 300 applications and chose ten projects for its third edition.

Olot’s Música al Parc will present five free concerts in Parc Nou from 26 July to 23 August. The series will cover diverse styles – traditional Iberian songs, singer‑songwriter repertoire, jazz, contemporary chamber music and Mandé sounds – with performances by Albéricas XL, the group Cantar és viure, violinist Coloma Bertran with singer Lia Sampai, Belgian singer Liza Wuyts with guitarist Carles Bech, Punch Trio with trombonist Samuel Marthe, and Mandé vocalist Adama Foune Cissokho. All concerts start at 18:30 and are free to the public.
