A weather forecast for Thursday, 25 June, predicts that the region will remain very warm, with maximum temperatures only a few degrees lower than earlier in the week. Inland areas such as central Catalonia, the Girona interior, the Ebre region and the Lleida plain are expected to reach 35‑38 °C, while coastal zones will stay above 36 °C. Minimum temperatures will drop by two to three degrees, staying above 16‑17 °C in most places, with slightly cooler air aloft over Barcelona.

The sky will be mostly clear with thin clouds, especially in the western part of the country. Some cloud development over the Pyrenees may bring very light rain showers to the far north, but significant precipitation is not expected. Winds will shift to a moderate southerly component, with occasional stronger gusts in the southern coastal areas and the Costa Brava. Dust suspended in the atmosphere will lessen as the day progresses.
