Catalonia summer music line‑up: Ivan Singh performs in Palafrugell, Silviá Pérez Cruz opens Terramar Festival

Argentine‑born blues guitarist Ivan Singh, now based in Chicago, will appear on Friday at Jazz Club La Guitarra in Palafrugell, accompanied by pianist David Giorcelli, bassist Predicador Ramírez, drummer Reginald Vilardell and the Sunset Rhythm Kings lineup for Saturday. Singh, who has shared stages with Buddy Guy and performed at the Mahindra Blues Festival in Bombay, was awarded the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival Revelation prize in 2017.

The following day, singer‑songwriter Silviá Pérez Cruz will open the Terramar CaixaBank Festival in Sitges. The three‑day event features 13 acts, including seven Catalan groups such as Rosana, Rosario, Sopa de Cabra and Els Amics de les Arts, as well as international tributes to Queen and Michael Jackson, performances by Ara Malikian and Earth, Wind & Fire. About 28,000 tickets have been sold, and the festival runs through 12 August with daily concerts in the Jardins de Terramar.
