Catalytic Generators expands ethylene ripening technology into Europe

Catalytic Generators is expanding its presence in the European fresh produce market following its participation in the Fruit Attraction event in Madrid. The company aims to bring over 50 years of U.S.-based fruit-ripening expertise to European markets while maintaining its North American and global customer base.

The company is currently active in Germany and the Netherlands and is working to strengthen its local distribution networks. In Italy, Catalytic Generators is expanding its distribution through Brancato srl. In Spain, the company is developing relationships with local operators and is in the process of obtaining the regulatory approvals necessary to offer its solutions in the Spanish market.

Looking ahead, the company is preparing for its 45th year as an exhibitor at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando, Florida. Greg Akins, President & CEO, noted that the company is introducing ethylene application solutions and upcoming wireless remote-monitoring capabilities to international audiences.
