Catamarca authorities investigate Colegio Pía Didoménico for bullying

The Ministry of Education and Labor of Catamarca has launched an administrative investigation and extraordinary supervision of the Colegio Pía Didoménico following allegations of systematic bullying and the non-consensual distribution of intimate content involving a female student.

The incidents reportedly began in April and escalated during a graduation trip to San Carlos de Bariloche. A viral video surfaced showing individuals admitting to verbal aggression and mistreatment. Consequently, the provincial government has ordered a 30-day intervention by an interdisciplinary team from the Provincial Directorate of School Mediation to audit institutional protocols, coexistence conditions, and records.

Two separate judicial investigations are underway. A Juvenile Criminal Prosecutor's Office is investigating the alleged production and distribution of explicit sexual representations of a minor, leading to the indictment of three adolescents. Simultaneously, Instruction Prosecutor's Office No. 7 is investigating the systematic harassment and its psychological impact on the victim.
