Catamarca autonomy 205th anniversary commemorated by SEM Capital

The Municipal Capital's Educational System (SEM) held a central ceremony to commemorate the 205th anniversary of the Declaration of Autonomy of Catamarca. The event took place at the Escuela Municipal N.º 2 ‘Juan Oscar Ponferrada’ and brought together families, authorities, and teachers.

The celebration included delegations from various educational levels, including the ‘Lilian Varela’ Initial Level, primary, and secondary schools. The program featured the entry of ceremonial flags from Municipal Schools N.º 1, N.º 2, and N.º 3, alongside pedagogical and artistic performances by students.

Cultural elements included live music from the Municipal Music Band, directed by Jorge Álvarez, and the cultural presentation ‘Catamarca, tierra de encuentros,’ which featured performances by the Wankara copleras and the folk group Los Viajeros.
