Global reports highlight dangerous driving and criminal incidents
Various incidents of dangerous driving and criminal activity have been reported across several regions. In Catamarca, Argentina, a video of a couple performing a motorcycle wheelie while carrying an unprotected baby has sparked widespread indignation. The National Road Safety Agency is working to identify the driver to potentially suspend their license.
In Jujuy, Argentina, a tragic accident on the Cuesta de Lipán saw a vehicle plunge 80 meters into a ravine, resulting in one death and leaving a father and son in critical condition. Meanwhile, in Virasoro, Corrientes, police apprehended a man for the illegal slaughter and transport of cattle, and in Paso de los Libres, they seized firearms and a poached deer during a routine check.
In Peru, five individuals were arrested in Surquillo for motorcycle-based robberies and extortion targeting informal bus drivers.
