Catamarca establishes new mining hub in capital city

The provincial government of Catamarca and the Municipality of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca have agreed to establish a ‘Mining Pole’ in the southern part of the capital city. The agreement involves the donation of municipal properties to the province to develop specialized mining infrastructure.

The project includes the construction of an administrative complex to centralize agencies such as the Ministry of Mining and CAMYEN S.E. Additionally, specific sites will be used for logistics and operations, including the storage of machinery, vehicles, and drilling witnesses. This initiative aims to decentralize public offices from the city center and promote urban development in new sectors of the capital.
