Catamarca expands funding for tourism and cultural development

The province of Catamarca is implementing new initiatives to bolster its tourism and cultural sectors. Through an agreement with the Federal Council of Investments (CFI), the provincial government will receive an additional 450,000,000 pesos to promote sustainable tourism and cultural industries. These funds are intended to strengthen the province's position as a national and international destination, supporting activities through the end of the year and events such as the National and International Poncho Festival.

Additionally, the Vice-Governorship and the Senate of Catamarca have launched 'Cultura Activa,' a provincial program aimed at supporting local artists. The initiative focuses on the professionalization of musicians and creators through training workshops, cultural management training, and technical advice. The program also provides free access to the Senate's recording studio and offers free musical instrument workshops in areas such as guitar, percussion, singing, and keyboard to foster local creative industries.
