Catamarca hosts Gaviota de Plata awards ceremony
On Wednesday, 29 July, the Club Social “25 de Agosto” in Catamarca Province held the federal Gaviota de Plata awards ceremony. The event recognized individuals and institutions for distinguished contributions across a range of fields, including culture, education, health, sport, business, entrepreneurship, social work and other professions.
The ceremony is part of a travelling schedule that began in San Juan on 25 July, moved to La Rioja on 28 July, and will conclude in Buenos Aires on 25 August. Attendees included María Alejandra de Pascua, Miss Universo Tucumán 2026 and president of the Organización Princesa Alexandra, as well as organisers Blanca Nieva and Mirtha Moyano, who serve as the Damas Federales and artistic godmothers of the prize. The Gaviota de Plata aims to honour excellence, talent and commitment to the community and to highlight the contributions that promote the development and identity of the province.
