Catamarca hosts rally in Tinogasta and backs MTB champion Maite Ovejero

The city of Tinogasta in Argentina's Catamarca province will stage the fourth round of the Campeonato Catamarqueño de Rally on August 15‑16, drawing pilots, co‑drivers and fans for a two‑day motorsport festival.

Separately, Catamarca cyclist Maite Ovejero won the juvenile class at the Argentine Mountain Bike Open in Tandil and secured a spot to represent Argentina at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy, in late August. A local fundraising raffle aims to cover part of her travel expenses.
