Catamarca municipality launches food safety training

The Technical Directorate of the Entrepreneurs' Kitchen, under the Municipality of the Capital in Catamarca, is launching new training sessions for individuals seeking the Safe Food Handling Certificate.

The free training sessions are scheduled for September 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at 3:00 PM at the location of 9 de Julio and Güemes. While the courses are free, participants must pay a 6,000 Argentine peso fee for the printing of the certificate upon successful completion of the training.

The program aims to ensure that those involved in the preparation, storage, transport, or commercialization of food possess the necessary knowledge to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain hygiene standards throughout the food chain.
