Catamarca police arrest man and seize various items

Police in Catamarca, Argentina, arrested a 25-year-old man identified as Casas following an intervention at the intersection of San Marcos and Dr. Agustín Correa y Soria. During the encounter, Casas and two other individuals attempted to flee from officers of the Ninth Precinct, though only Casas was apprehended.

Authorities seized a variety of items of undetermined origin, including a 25-kilogram bag of cement, a toilet, a sound console, two aluminum windows, a grate, and a 12-meter-long iron rod. Notably, the seizure also included a children's carousel. Casas has been transferred to the local station and remains at the disposal of the South District Instruction Prosecutor's Office while investigations continue into the ownership of the recovered objects.
