Catamarca Vice-Governorship conducts vocational and teacher training in Puna

The Vice-Governorship of Catamarca, led by Rubén Dusso, implemented a series of workshops in the Antofagasta de la Sierra department. The initiative focused on vocational guidance for secondary school students and professional development for educators in the Puna region.

In the Villa de Antofagasta, the Direction of Training, managed by Dahiana Olmos, provided vocational tools to approximately 20 sixth-year students to assist with their transition to academic or professional life. The program also extended to El Peñón, where 15 fifth-year students from Rural Secondary School No. 27 received similar guidance.

Additionally, a chemistry teaching workshop led by specialist Noelia Gutiérrez was held in Villa de Antofagasta. This session, which provides teaching credits, aimed to equip primary school educators with innovative pedagogical tools for natural sciences. The provincial Senate stated these actions aim to decentralize opportunities and support youth and teachers in the interior of Catamarca.
