Catamarca’s Casa de la Puna hosts over 100 exhibitors at weekend cultural fair
From Saturday 13 to Sunday 14 June, the Plaza Quique Sánchez Vera in front of the Casa de la Puna will host the Manos Catamarqueñas fair. The event brings together more than 100 exhibitors, including local entrepreneurs, artisans, designers and producers from the capital and the province’s interior. Visitors can enjoy food‑truck gastronomy, a traditional “matero” area, and an institutional zone featuring public agencies and invited companies.
The program includes free artistic performances for all ages: ballet folklórico, local musical groups, and folk ensembles such as Ballet Dejando Huellas, Maite Díaz and La Tríada. Workshops, a cat‑and‑chacarera session with Rita Soria and additional cultural shows will run from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day, reinforcing the fair’s family‑friendly atmosphere and highlighting the region’s talent.
