Catania and Reggina begin pre‑season training camps in Italy

Italian clubs Catania and Reggina have started their pre‑season training camps ahead of the new season. Catania’s camp in Norcia includes a revamped communication strategy aimed at strengthening ties with the local community and national media. The club highlighted social‑media content featuring players, a presentation of new signing Marco Perrotta, and promotional videos showcasing historic town landmarks. Giuseppe Sapienza, head of the club’s communication and marketing area, said the new approach puts dialogue with the territory at its core.

Reggina’s camp in Cantalupa featured a double training session on 7 August, combining strength tests in the morning with tactical drills in the afternoon despite heavy rain. The team worked on defensive and offensive patterns and concluded with a full‑field 11‑vs‑11 match. An upcoming friendly against AC Gozzano was scheduled to provide further tactical insight before the Serie D campaign begins.
