Catania Architects receive four national council appointments

The Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators of the province of Catania has secured four appointments within the National Council (CNAPPC). These roles involve participation in working groups, commissions, and external delegations to address strategic professional challenges.

President Alessandro Amaro has been appointed as the external delegate for the evolution of the professional training platform. Treasurer Cecilia Tosto will join the Public Works Commission, focusing on the reform of the European procurement directive and the Public Contracts Code. Vice President Martina Arena will serve on the Youth and Access to the Profession Commission, addressing opportunities and challenges for new generations of architects. Additionally, Councilor Giuseppe Pulvirenti will contribute to works regarding Environment, Sustainability, Ecological Transition, and Climate Change, specifically referencing Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) and the ‘Do No Significant Harm’ (DNSH) principle.
