The pediatric bone marrow transplant unit at the Policlinico ‘G. Rodolico – San Marco’ in Catania has reopened following a 12-month renovation project. The restructuring aimed to modernize the facility, enhance patient safety, and improve comfort for children and their families.

The project was funded through a combination of National Health Plan funds, regional government allocations, and additional investments. The renovated unit is located on the fourth floor of Building 4 within the Pediatric Oncohematology Complex.
