Catania returns to Torre del Grifo training center

Catania is set to return to its Torre del Grifo training center this Tuesday, marking a significant milestone for the club after more than four years. The facility has been closed since April 9, 2022, following the previous iteration of the club's bankruptcy.

The team will spend the entire week at the center to prepare for their upcoming match against Altamura, utilizing the natural grass pitches. While the technical staff may still use the Massimino stadium or the synthetic field in Misterbianco if necessary, the return to Torre del Grifo represents a major step in the club's daily operations.

The reopening follows extensive efforts to resolve obstacles and complete necessary works. Vincenzo Grella played a key role in accelerating the team's transfer to the facility, which was acquired by owner Ross Pelligra and subsequently donated to the club.
