Catania to host Bianchi di Sicilia wine festival

The fourth edition of ‘Bianchi di Sicilia – Il sole nel calice’ is scheduled to take place on September 19 in Piazza Università, Catania. This event is the only festival in Sicily entirely dedicated to white wines.

Organized by AIS Catania, AIS Sicilia, Piazza Scammacca, and Sullaluna in collaboration with Expo, the festival will feature over one hundred wineries from across the island. The program aims to transform the city center into a cultural space for wine, offering tastings, masterclasses, talks, exhibitions, workshops, and musical activities for both adults and children.

A press conference to reveal the full program and new features will be held on September 14 at the Palazzo della Cultura. The event is supported by the Regional Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment, the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipality of Catania, and the University of Catania.
