Catanzaro administration faces criticism over new pedestrian zone
In Catanzaro, Forza Italia councilor Alessandra Lobello has raised concerns regarding the upcoming establishment of a permanent pedestrian zone in the historic center. With only one week remaining before the scheduled implementation, Lobello criticized the Fiorita administration for a lack of clarity regarding administrative procedures and costs.
Specifically, the councilor noted that there are currently no official municipal acts to facilitate the installation of outdoor seating (dehors) for local businesses. Lobello argued that without clear rules and authorizations, commercial operators cannot effectively invest or plan for the transition, potentially undermining the goal of revitalizing the historic center.
