Catanzaro and Catania name new coaches as Serie B clubs plan ahead

The club expects the summer market, opening on 29 June and closing on 1 September, to reshape its squad.

Catania’s bid to hire Pietro De Giorgio fell through after the coach chose a role with Empoli. The club has reopened its search, naming former managers Emilio Longo and Giorgio Gorgone as leading candidates, and aims to decide within days to prepare for pre‑season and player recruitment.
