Catanzaro association supports Corso Mazzini pedestrian zone

The association Petrusinu ogni Minestra has expressed strong support for the establishment of a pedestrian zone on Corso Mazzini in Catanzaro. Describing the move as a “signal of great urban civility,” the group welcomed the measure as a positive step for local livability and social interaction.

The association is calling for this initiative to be more than a temporary measure. They are advocating for the permanent and full pedestrianization of Corso Mazzini and much of the city's historic center. They argue that removing vehicular traffic will reduce smog, improve safety for families and visitors, and act as a catalyst for local commerce and tourism.

Petrusinu ogni Minestra has indicated its willingness to collaborate with the municipal administration to continue this urban regeneration process.
