Catanzaro football club launches new season with coach Gorgone and friendly vs FC Paradiso

The Catanzaro football team opened its 2024‑25 campaign with a press conference introducing new coach Gorgone, followed by a gathering in the Marinaro district. The day concluded with a season‑opening dinner and the announcement of a friendly match against FC Paradiso, a third‑division side from the Swiss canton of Ticino.

Ahead of the match, the squad underwent medical examinations and routine tests. The club plans to hold its training camp in Livigno later in the week, after a brief stay in San Floro, and is also arranging an additional friendly with Lecco.

Key new arrivals include midfielder Nicolò Postiglione and the recently signed player Saya Seha, who joined the team after arriving in Lamezia. The preparations aim to build momentum for the upcoming league season.
