Catanzaro hosts launch of five community regeneration projects

Five social entrepreneurship projects were presented in Catanzaro as part of the ‘Rigenerare comunità’ (Regenerate Communities) initiative. The program, which focuses on social entrepreneurship, welfare, and well-being, aims to foster social inclusion and employment opportunities across the Calabria and Basilicata regions.

Supported by Fondazione Carical in collaboration with Fondazione con il Sud and Fondazione Peppino Vismara, each project will receive funding of approximately 300,000 euros. The initiatives cover diverse areas, including social tailoring, employment opportunities for people with disabilities, educational paths for youth with neurodevelopmental disorders, and support for the Third Sector in inland areas.

The program seeks to address local needs such as depopulation and territorial marginalization by leveraging local resources to create sustainable social cohesion and employment for vulnerable populations.
