Catanzaro Police Ban Five Men After Violent Nightclub Brawl in Sellia Marina

A crowded musical event at a public venue in Sellia Marina turned violent when five men, aged 21 to 48 and residents of Zagarise and Sellia Marina, began a brawl while heavily intoxicated. Police and Carabinieri intervened to restore order, and all participants were later reported to the judicial authorities for the crime of brawling.

The Catanzaro Police Headquarters responded by issuing five "Daspo Willy" bans (DACUR measures) that prohibit the individuals from entering or staying near any public entertainment establishments in the municipality of Sellia Marina for one year. The bans are intended to curb future violence in nightlife venues.
