Catanzaro residents report wild boar incursions in Sant’Antonio district

Residents in the Sant’Antonio district of Catanzaro are facing increasing difficulties due to frequent wild boar incursions. Large groups of animals, sometimes numbering between 15 and 30 individuals including adults and cubs, have become a nightly presence in the residential areas.

The animals frequently overturn trash bins in search of food, scattering waste across streets and sidewalks. This has led to concerns regarding urban decorum, damage to street furniture, and public safety. Local residents are calling for urgent intervention to manage the situation and restore security to the neighborhood.
