Catanzaro Servizi S.p.A. salary delays trigger union outcry

The CGIL‑affiliated union Filcams (area Vasta) reported that Catanzaro Servizi S.p.A. may be unable to pay the July 2026 salaries of its 120 workers, with the payment already postponed to August 10. The union cited a €295,000 shortfall for the DURC, the lack of a €200,000 pre‑deducted loan, and the diversion of municipal funds to a new water‑mirror project as reasons for the delay.

Separately, the municipality of Martinsicuro approved the 2025 budget of Poliservice S.p.A., despite negative opinions from the legal auditor and the supervisory board. The approved plan includes a 5‑6% tariff reduction for domestic users in 2026‑27 and aims to improve waste‑collection rates and overall service quality for local citizens.
