Catanzaro to host massive gourmet banquet for charity

The association ‘Città del Vento’ is organizing ‘La Cena Straordinaria’ in Catanzaro, an event designed to showcase Calabrian culinary excellence and territorial identity. The festivities include a massive outdoor gourmet dining experience on Corso Mazzini, featuring a 400-meter long table with 1,000 seats.

The program begins on September 4 and 5 with ‘Percorsi del gusto,’ offering showcooking, book presentations, and exhibitions. The main event on Sunday, September 6, aims to serve as a tool for territorial marketing and solidarity. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the establishment of ‘Pitta Pop,’ the first ‘popular pitteria’ in Calabria, which will be managed by youth facing social vulnerabilities.
