Catanzaro to host lung cancer multidisciplinary medical congress

A medical congress focused on lung cancer treatment and patient-centered care is scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2026, at the Magna Graecia University in Catanzaro. The event, directed scientifically by Professor Marco Chiappetta, aims to address the increasing clinical complexity of patients through a multidisciplinary approach involving surgeons, pulmonologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and nurses.

The program includes sessions on pulmonary nodules, screening, risk stratification, and new diagnostic technologies such as PET, liquid biopsy, and the role of artificial intelligence. Additional discussions will cover personalized surgery, integrated management of lung cancer, and predictive models based on AI.
