Catarina Miranda Accuses Afonso Leitão of Domestic Violence

Catarina Miranda and Afonso Leitão ended an eight‑month relationship after controversial messages were found on Leitão's phone. On 26 May, Miranda withdrew her public support for Leitão on social media, and on 26 June she filed a police report accusing him of domestic violence.

Miranda says she cannot comment further because her lawyers have instructed her not to speak about the case. The couple had shared a home, joint projects and an unborn child before the breakup.

The allegation was reported by TV 7 Dias in Portugal.
