Cathay Cargo adopts Unilode’s new fire containment cover leasing solution

Cathay Cargo has become the launch customer for Unilode Aviation Solutions’ new Fire Containment Cover Leasing Solution. This partnership aims to enhance cargo safety and operational efficiency through a fully managed leasing model.

The service provides airlines with flexible, global access to certified Fire Containment Covers, encompassing availability, certification, maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle management. By utilizing this leasing model, airlines can avoid the complexities and costs associated with equipment ownership while ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.

Unilode, a provider of outsourced Unit Load Device (ULD) management, is extending its asset management capabilities to include these covers to offer a more efficient alternative to traditional ownership.
